Terms and Conditions

1.0 The terms ''We'' and ''Ecovista'' will be used throughout this article. It refers to Services Ecovista Inc.

1.1 The following conditions must be met in order to receive the services of a professional

  • Have entered the correct dimensions of the home beforehand.
  • Do not obstruct the work of the professional.
  • Have an efficient and functional vacuum cleaner available to the professional.
  • Control your pets so that they do not interfere with the work of the professional.
  • Maintain home in normal condition (professionally cleaned within the last 30 days)

1.2 Fire/security alarms: Ecovista is not responsible for any costs related to the activation of alarms.

1.3 Cancellations: A fee of up to $50 may be charged for cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the service date. We know that our clients often have a hectic lifestyle. That is why all Ecovista clients receive an email reminder 72 hours and 24 hours prior to each service.

1.4 Fixed Price: The price of the service is estimated assuming that your home is in normal condition. We reserve the right to charge you an additional fee or charge by the hour ($46/pro/hour) if we feel that our service cannot be completed within the reasonable time frame.

1.5 If we deem your property unsafe or inaccessible in any way, we reserve the right to cancel your service and charge you a cancellation fee as set forth in Section 1.3.

1.7 Pets: The Professional will do his or her best to ensure that all pets remain inside. However, we are not responsible if they manage to escape. It is the client's responsibility to cage or place in a closed room any animal that may exhibit aggressive behavior or behavior that in any way impedes the work of the professional.

1.8 The professional will not handle the cleaning of human or animal excrement. The same applies to litter.

2.0 Allergies: If you are allergic to certain cleaning products, please let us know before your service and we will take the necessary measures for your well-being.

2.1 Customer Provided Equipment: In order to avoid cross-contamination, as well as to facilitate the movement of professionals, we ask the customer to provide a working vacuum cleaner and a bucket. Please inform us if you would like us to use any of your specific tools and equipment to clean your home. Please note that if a client provides a product and/or equipment and requests that it be used for his service, he agrees to give the professional the instructions related to its proper use and thereby takes responsibility for any damage resulting from its use.

2.2 Solicitation: Ecovista invests a significant amount of resources to build its customer base. Ecovista's clients agree not to solicit any services from professionals registered on the Ecovista platform for a period of twelve (12) months after the termination of services. A fee of $500, payable immediately, will be charged to clients who violate this agreement.

2.3 Home: In order to provide an impeccable service, our clients are required to clear the floors, counters, cabinets, etc., which will be cleaned, otherwise the professional will reserve the right to leave certain parts of the home as such.

2.4 The client agrees to provide accurate information regarding the size of the home, the number of bedrooms and the number of bathrooms. An hourly service may be charged if the home is in abnormal conditions (no professional cleaning in the last month).

2.5 Time: The professional tries as much as possible to arrive within the scheduled time. However, some glitches may occur and we cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.

2.6 The customer declares that he/she has liability insurance coverage for his/her residence;

2.7 All our prices are subject to applicable sales taxes.
